It is my hope that the nine diverse portfolios on the following pages will take the viewer on an exciting visual adventure. Sharing my love of light, nature, travel and world cultures is a joy. If in some small way this book inspires a love of the natural world, encouraging its protection and a respect for mankind's differences, encouraging tolerance, I will count it a success.

The book is intended as a guide to purchasing the Fine Art Photography of Craig Lovell. Color reproduction has reached new heights with the digital revolution. The ability to control contrast range, hue, color saturation and to retouch images has made the computer the new darkroom with much more control then ever before. New ink technology has dramatically increased the stability and archival nature of the prints so that they are color fast for many decades. The ability to print on various surfaces such as traditional photographic paper, watercolor paper and canvas has expanded the creative possibilities for the photographer.

TYPES OF PRINTS AVAILABLE

Prints can be ordered as gallery wrapped giclees on canvas so no framing is necessary. This is a relatively new technique that gives the images texture and eliminates glass for a more intimate experience with the print. Canvas prints can also be framed. You can also order traditional color prints on photographic paper mounted and matted on archival rag board and suitable for framing. Images can be ordered in a variety of sizes including 12"x 18",
16"x 24", 20"x 30" , 24"x 36", 30"x 45" or even larger. A price list is available upon request.
