Born and raised in Hartford, Connecticut I've always had keen interest in music, film and still photography. While singing and playing music in R & B bands throughout junior high school and high I started taking pictures with a Kodak Instamatic and shooting film with a Kodak Super 8 movie camera given to by my mother as a Christmas gift. However it wasn't until I finished school at the Hartford Conservatory of Music and migrated to San Francisco, California did I get an opportunity to really experiment with 35mm still photography.
