Pashupatiinath Temple Burning Ghats is a celebration of Impermanence, a core concept in Hinduism and Buddhism. Shot from a distance so as not to intrude on anyone's privacy, this 32 page photo essay chronicles a Hindu funeral ritual from a perspective of reverence.

Tammy Winand is a self-taught photographer and graphic designer. Born in York, PA in August 1968, she graduated Dallastown High School in 1986 and attended West Chester University, where she studied French and creative writing. She relocated to central Florida in 1992. Since then she has ived in 7 US states and 4 foreign countries.
Tammy believes that having a creative eye and sharp composition skills are more important than equipment. She uses only point and shoot cameras.
Her preferred photography media are landscapes, travel and architectural, both color and black and white.
