For generations, women of the Bible have inspired sermons, movies, novels, and art. In this book, a group of artists and writers who live and worship in the San Francisco Bay area, creatively retell the stories of these female archetypes – the good and the bad. Art media include painting, ceramics, drawing, fabric, photography, and assemblage. The writing encompasses a variety of creative essays and poetry.
