The Philadelphia Photo League (PPL) is a cooperative of amateur and professional photographers who work together on a range of social and creative causes. The League was founded in July 2012 by a group of passionate Philadelphia-area photographers/activists who are committed to fostering social change through documentary photography. Our core mission is to create awareness of societal conditions and inspire activism. Our group provides photographic services and support to civic organizations around the world.

We pursue our mission by providing an environment where photographers using various media can gather to share knowledge, ideas, inspiration, and community. PPL offers monthly
classes, workshops, and photo walks.
