Alan Skyrme is a British professional photographer, artist and travel writer. His photography is specialised in Food (in particular Tropical fruit), Travel and Nature while his painting is, mainly, watercolour paintings of birds.
His work, past and present, took him to live in ten countries on three continents, visiting dozens of countries on the remaining continents over a thirty year period and, while still travelling mainly to Europe, he spends more time at his studio based in Brazil.
