I've been taking pictures since 1975 when I attended a continuing education class at the University of Georgia. With the advent of digital images, it is now inexpensive enough to dive head first into a hobby I dearly love. I received a Nikon D5000 for my birthday a couple of years ago. With that level of technology plus both a normal and 80x200 lens, I'm ready to do some serious photography. My primary subjects include architecture, flora and landscapes. However, any scene that catches my eye is bound to be captured as long as the light is right. It is my intent to continue publishing more volumes in the Country Images series.
