The Only Way Back is Forward started out as a thesis project for my Masters in Digital Photography. Along the way it morphed into a children's book with many illustrations and an entire story. A lost girl finds a mysterious gate in the middle of a winter field and ventures to the other side. She wanders into a world of gears and strange creatures. Along the way, she gets in a bit of trouble but all she wants to do is find her way home. Enter a steampunk world of animal creatures and odd floating gears. Will she make it home or will she wander into another world?
