Costas Vergas was born in Nafplio. He studied Mathematics but he soon decided to follow his passion, photography, as a way of life. Since 1986 he has worked for publishing and advertising companies as well as the Hellenic Tourist Organization for the promotion of Greece. In 2004 he was on the Greek photographic team that covered the Olympic games. He has received numerous awards and his work has been shown in exhibitions around the world.
