I was born in the fishing community of Hermitage on the Sw coast of Newfoundland. Grew up by the ocean. In my poetry I've tried to capture the sea and the life lived by the people there. I moved to BC in 1981 after the fishery collapsed. I love the outdoors, hiking, camping and white water rafting. My favorite hobby is writing poetry.
