I have been taking photographs since the early 80's. Back then it was with a 35mm Olympus. As the decades passed, I continued to develop my eye and ability for the details. These days it's very easy to 'capture and delete'. But doing that, one does not learn anything. I take images to show a place, a detail, person or event are not taken lightly. The image has to mean something. I much prefer taking time to frame, focus (depth, format, aspect ratio, what is not in focus) then shooting a lot. Equipment has changed from 35mm film to digital. Although I used many digital cameras; My current SLR is the Nikon D7100. The phone is iPhone 16.
