Can granular ‘withintrification’, neighborhood-led transformation, create streams of alternative capital in the Eastside neighborhood? By employing Main Street America’s design guidelines and incremental intensification, I will test a redevelopment strategy for pockets of community infill to develop critical mass for the Eastside neighborhood and keep a web of socio-economic benefits in the hands of the local community.
