Behmard Kornblume is a field surgeon in 1811, who is unfortunately deployed as a disease called The Blight spreads through all if Europe. Their field marshal is hesitant to retreat to the safe land, so a collective group of soldiers and civilians decide to retreat away in the middle of the night. Behmard meets someone--a priest named Hans. A relationship sparks between the two men, one of compassion and comradeship, and possibly more.
