Detroit Undercover is the cities newest look into the lives of Detroit artists. The goal of DU was to dig deep and see what creatives have to go through to make their passions a reality.
All creatives featured in Detroit Undercover are living double lives, by day they are working jobs, and studying for degrees that don’t always have a connection to their artistic passions. By night they are building businesses, and expressing themselves in the best way they know how; creation. Each one of them sees their creative projects leading them in different directions, and are trying to find a balance between their work, life, and art along the way.

Detroit Undercover Vol. #1 is all about clothing and creation. Five Detroit artists with different backgrounds, styles, motivations, and abilities, all connected by two things.
Their love for art, and their love for the city.

Detroit Undercover aims to highlight creatives of all walks of life. We value the diverse group of artists featured in this issue, and prioritize representation of all different races, ethnicities, sexualities, and communities. DU wants you not only to find inspiration in the stories of these creatives, but be able to see yourself in them as well.
