Jacqueline Drake is an artist, life coach, and Director of Creative and Immersive Therapies at The Drake Center, where she weaves together fine art, mindfulness, and innovative healing practices. A pioneer in combining creativity with wellness, Jacqueline draws inspiration from her own powerful 100-pound transformation through virtual reality (VR) fitness and mindfulness, embodying the balance she teaches others to find.

A lifelong artist, Jacqueline has created vibrant, soulful works that can be found in hospitals, spas, cancer centers, and private homes around the world. Her former healing arts gallery was known for being a sanctuary of inspiration, showcasing not just her own creations but also promoting art as a tool for emotional and spiritual well-being. She has received numerous accolades, including Hour Detroit’s “Best Place to Buy Original Art” in 2019 and 2020, and she was named Hour Magazine’s “Face of Creativity.”

Beyond her gallery, Jacqueline has always been deeply committed to teaching mindfulness and meditation, integrating these practices into her art classes, wellness workshops, and therapeutic programs. Her sessions are designed to help others access creativity as a path to self-discovery, healing, and transformation.

Her debut children’s mindfulness book, Morphie’s Mindful Journey, is a natural extension of her mission. Through luminous illustrations and gentle storytelling, Jacqueline invites families to slow down, breathe, and explore calm, creativity, and connection together.
