*This is an excerpt from my book The Epic of Istoria. This part does NOT contain the series of epics that will make up the bulk of the final version.*

This part contains the timeline, introduction, one of the epics, and the epilogue. The epilogue is the scientific, historical, and spiritual information that inspired the epics. While this is a work of science fiction, it is based on theories with scientific backing and recent archeological discoveries. I am making this early version available, due to the interest in ancient religion section of my epilogue.

Summary: A global meteor stream nearly wipes out humanity. Advanced societies are reduced to rubble and the survivors retreat underground. Centuries later, their descendants emerged, forgetting how far their ancestors had come.

They only retained some skills of the Before Times. They spoke different languages, remembered different stories, and were constantly at war. They had returned to a stone age, as they relearned the lost knowledge of their ancestors.
