This book is an exhibition catalog of "It Comes In Waves: living with Long COVID in Colorado," curated by Heather Schulte. The show was presented Nov 7- Dec 31, 2025 at The People's Building in Aurora, CO, and was a project of Stitching the Situation, funded by an INSITE Fund grant. The exhibition features artwork by and about people living with Long COVID in Colorado. Some are artists who made visual art work about their experiences, others are poems or writing. Illustrations were also commissioned from 5 artists who are incarcerated in CO facilities to depict stories and interviews submitted by Coloradans living with Long COVID. Full color images of each artwork are accompanied by the full text of the stories and interviews submitted, which are also available on our exhibition website.
