Informazioni sul libro
For five years, the daily bus journey across the Auckland Harbour Bridge became something more than a commute. Watching the harbour each morning from the window of the NX1 bus, Rudolph Van Wyk began noticing the subtle changes in light, clouds, colour, and reflection that greeted the city at the start of each day.
With nothing more than a curious eye and an iPhone, he began capturing these quiet moments as they appeared.
Bridging Moments is a collection of more than one hundred photographs taken between 2019 and 2024 – simple observations of Auckland waking beneath the morning sky.
This landscape edition offers a calm visual journey through familiar waters and shifting light, inviting the viewer to pause and rediscover the everyday beauty of Auckland – the City of Sails.
