Informazioni sul libro
The exhibition started on the 17th of February and ended on the 22nd 2026 at the Nullið Gallery in central Reykjavik, Iceland.
It was not an attempt to reject artificial intelligence nor to return to a previous technological state. AI is not something that can be put back into a box, and opposing it directly does not lead to meaningful outcomes. Instead the project explored how understanding and reappropriation may allow humans to reposition themselves within an increasingly automated cultural landscape.

Informazioni sull'autore
Tristan Zand is a California born experimental photographer / multimedia artist / programmer. His work focuses on investigating the photographic image and what makes it resonate with our deeper sense of reality. The photograph as one's proof of existence, of one's non-singularity? His work states how even the most abstract photographic mishap can feel a friend or a foe, as a proof of existence beyond the visual illusion. His works include 'the bootymachine', 'dreams of a silicon future' , 'matchomaton', 'dualphotography', and many more.
