Our active family holiday in France. A nice way to enjoy France is to spend one week in a green, more mountainous area andn a next week near the beach at the subtropical island of Oleron. A camping remains the ideal place for young kids and if you're not a die-hard camper with your own tent and all (like us), there are plenty cottages, mobile homes, etc. simply for hire via the internet. So we did.



The Jura is a beautiful green area of France, great for hiking and enjoying nature. Green means rain every now and then. And Oleron is a friendly island with nice beaches, bike lanes, activities like kite surfing and renown for its oysters for those who enjoy them.
