Memories, folk tales and unwritten stories combine in this collection of paintings.

Arising from the artists travels in India, Alex uses the format of Indian miniature painting as a starting point for the image to burst out of the frame and enter into another half remembered world. One where the real dissolves and the impossible becomes real, triggering a response in the viewer, who can then begin to find their own stories, legends, myths and meaning
