While driving through the Southern California landscape I pulled over along busy highways, freeways, and into truck stops to capture seemingly uninhabited landscapes.

I wanted to show how our unconscious expresses our internal messages through the use of everyday images. We may pass this mountain one our way to work, only see it in the context of the freeway and the cars jostling to break free of traffic, yet this very image may come to us in our dream in a totally different context.

It's our job to take a moment and find the context. Thats how we bring meaning to the rich inner unconscious part of our lives.
