    Informazioni sul Ebook

The Masculine Eros dares to ask the question: how does one survive in our toxic world without becoming toxic oneself? This book proposes a radical idea: the solution is found within one's own self, a solution which unfolds when we set out on our own unique hero's journey. It is only when we jump ship and set out on our own course, purifying our hearts and embracing our divine humanness in the process, that we will learn love, compassion and tolerance for one another.

Fortunately, we will not be asked to take this journey alone, for we will be accompanied by the god of love and desire, Eros, with his enthusiasm for life, appreciation of beauty, and his delicious pinch of naughtiness. And, as we become more acquainted with our new companion, we will learn of his masculine qualities; qualities necessary if we are to heal ourselves and our planet.

Utilizing the evolving images of photographer Gary Laird, with their embodiment of the masculine, an energy always relevant to both men and woman, you will be asked to take your own journey, for this is not a passive read. You will be asked to walk through your purification, to explore the labyrinth of your psyche, and to honestly look in the mirror.

The journey toward wholeness is never easy, it takes courage. It is difficult to explore the cracks and crevasses of our own psyches. If you choose to join us, to set sail to an unknown land, may you return home reborn into a more authentic Self - possessing a heart of gold.

He is also on the faculty of the Jung Center in Houston. His style is known as warm, humorous and always radically human. Embracing his positive masculine, as a lifelong political and social activist, participating in numerous human rights movements both locally and nationally he has always been an advocate for the disenfranchised.
