Slipstream pays homage to six record-breaking flights completed between 1919 and 1939. In each case the flights engaged with the island of Ireland, therby linking this country with aviation's conquest of the North Atlantic.



It is an eclectic mix that includes aviation icons such as Charles Lindbergh, Amelia Earhart, John Alcock and Italo Balbo. This volume describes the connections between each flight and Ireland.
