“Raw” is a file memorization format that allows the highest level of data retention. The word “raw”, moreover, incorporates the meanings of “naturalness”, “not elaborated”, “frankness”. These simple concepts explain the choice of the title and the fundamentals of this book.
The pictures concern different subjects, points of view, and themes. However, there is a fil rouge that binds them together throughout the book: a new way of using the digital camera as a simple recording tool, at its minimal technological capabilities.

Carlo Corradi nasce a Rho (MI) nel 1969, dove attualmente vive e lavora. Dalla fine degli anni '80 si dedica alla pittura e relativa attività espositiva. Inizia a lavorare con la fotografia nel 1995, approfondisce tecnica e linguaggio fotografico partecipando a corsi e seminari di settore. Le sue opere sono state presentate in esposizioni personali (Tenerife, Castellanza, Milano) e diverse collettive, tra cui la I Biennale Internazionale d'Arte di Malta. ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------ Carlo Corradi was born in Rho (near Milan in Italy) in 1969.From the end of the '80s, he devoted himself to painting and the connected exhibition activity.His works have been exposed in various exhibitions, both personal (in Tenerife, Castellanza, and Milan) and collective (e.g., the 1st International biannual of Art in Malta). From 2000, he chose photography as his favourite medium to express his research and visual experimentation.
