Informazioni sul libro
In honored memory of those who have suffered through unimaginable horrors.
"Remember us"
Voices from the Ash was first published in 1997 in issue number #1 of Morbid Curiosity, a publication featuring nonfiction of the strange, macabre and disquieting. The essay was accompanied by three images from the Dachau series, produced in June of 1985. The cover also featured a print from the series.
Although my current ventures in art involve assemblage sculpture, I still consider the Dachau series one of my most successful, and poignant early works. This project has been an emotional and eerie revisiting of a place and time that has been burned into my memory.

Since 1989, I have enjoyed creating assemblage sculptures. Working with the visual imagery and conceptual elements of my artwork and developing them into a cohesive story has been challenging, rewarding and has directed me onto a creative path that has taken me by surprise. I hope you will enjoy this diversion into the dark waters of my subconscious.
