Informazioni sul libro
All profit from this book will go to the Japanese Red Cross to help with the Earthquake and Tsunami relief.
Japan is a country of contrast; honoring history while ceaselessly striving for the future.
There are examples everywhere from the neon-clad Anime stores of Akihabara to the manicured tranquility of Zen Gardens of Kyoto; the towering skyscrapers of Shinjuku to the plunging ravines and cliffs of Rikuchu Kaigan National Park; the looming snow-monsters of Zao Onsen to the candy-floss flurries of the Sakura.
It is the land of both the fearsome Samurai and the fragile gentleness of the Geisha, worlds apart but both linked by discipline and elegance, captured in my Journal entries and photos.
