Stephen is a poet~psychologist and Native American Flute player who resides in Centerville, Ohio. His work explores the seamless world of nature ` a luminous passion.

Collaborative Creativity: Stephen's association with Photographer James Crotty (www.CalmPhotos.com). Together, poet and photographer present stunning works of the seamless passion found in nature.

The Nature of Life (NEW!) is written with daughter Shawna R Emerick, RYT of New York City, exploring the relationship of the Body and Its Stories, and the ways poetry and yoga bring these to life!

Stephen's educational background includes: A Psychology degree (MA), Ball State University, Muncie Indiana. An MDiv, United Theological Seminary, Dayton Ohio. Doctor of Philosophy degree (PhD) in Psychology from The Union Institute and University, Cincinnati Ohio. He is a licensed psychologist.

Stephen is also a Pipe Carrier, and SunDancer committed to Cross Cultural understanding.
