It all started with Fifty Famous Fairy Tales, a book Debra Morrow read 50,000 times as a child until the cover almost wore off. The little girl who skipped from Cherry The Frog Bride to Rumpelstiltskin would grow up to be a writer – for small newspapers, big ad agencies, tiny shops and international companies. In her spare time she volunteered to read children’s books at elementary schools. Then one day she woke up and scratched her head. Why, she thought, couldn’t she write a story herself? And so she did. A Fir-Ever Christmas is her first book, inspired by the magic of the season.
