Natisha began writing short stories at the age of 7 yrs old solely for the joy it brought her which would eventually shape the world around her and influence her future goals. She has always sought to interpret her world using all the visual and linguistic tools available to her which are expressed not only through her poetry but also through her artwork. Her profound appreciation for the sound and rhythm of words and language evolved into a strong connection to the art of poetry. Natisha excelled in Language and Literature courses throughout high school and college solidifying her skill and love for creative writing. This is Natisha's second venture as an author in this collection of poetry written from 1997 to 2020. In addition to a poet, Natisha is also a visual artist, designer, and mother of a beautiful daughter.
