I grew up in Montana with my dad, Terry; mom, Judy; sister, Kelly; and sister, Jamie. I attended Montana State University and graduated in 1999 with a degree in agriculture and biology education. I met and married my husband, Brian, about that same time. Brian grew up in Texas and Oklahoma. His family resides in Texas now. We moved to the Dallas area shortly after we married. There, I taught middle school science for five years. Brian worked in sales at Sewell Lexus of Dallas for three years, then began working for TAC, an energy solutions company, on the installation team and has worked there ever since. Our son, Jacob, was born in 2004. Two years later, our daughter Abbie was born. We moved to Virginia shortly before Abbie arrived, due to a choice to follow Brian's work. I am fully immersed in the challenges of being a stay-at-home mom. This book (and hopefully future books) are published from our family website, maintained to share our family's memories with loved ones.
