Joseph Barth graduated from Goddard College in 1971 with a degree in Creative Writing. He played in a Bluegrass Band for eight years, touring much of New England, and recording one LP. He worked as a carpenter until his retirement in 2008 and lives on a farm in Midcoast Maine
