I retired in late 2006. My retirement ended in January of 2008 when a small blessing was placed in my lap. That blessing would be Elliot. We shared our weekdays together and they were filled with happiness. In April of 2010 another wee blessing, Remi, came to share our days. Her presence doubled the fun and indeed made our days infinitely more interesting.

Elliot is now in school. Remi will start preschool in 2015 and kindergarten in the fall. I will still see them each day after school. While they are in school, I will begin something I have always wanted to do. That would be to write and illustrate children’s books. You would be right if you are thinking they are my inspiration.

Their adventures have already scripted several books that I am sure they will enjoy and other children will identify with.
