"I Can't Breathe," is a photography book from SC Visualz creators Louis Carr and Sterling Scott. It is a follow-up to their first book, "Reflection of Us," which focused on black men and their friendship from an older and younger perspective. "I Can't Breathe," focuses on the current state of affairs of Black America. It highlights the struggle for social justice and freedom, dating back to Trayvon Martin, in 2013, to George Floyd in 2020. The project centers black mothers and black women, and emphasizes the beauty of being Black in a time where Blackness is under attack.
