The railway line heading south-west from Rosmead to Graaff-Reinet was one of the most photogenic in South Africa, a country abounding in such things. The Lootsberg Pass was nothing less than amazing, a wild remote place with stunning scenery and quite awe-inspiring. Beyond the pass the line continued through incessantly attractive rural and yet more mountain scenery. Six classes depicted at work on freight, mixed, and passenger trains. Not to be missed.
