Informazioni sul libro
Unposed photographs taken over a 3 year period in or around the Burlington Arcade, Piccadilly, London. Built in 1818 by Lord Cavendish reputedly to prevent passers-by throwing oyster shells over the wall of this home. It remains an exclusive venue for jewellery and luxury goods. It is popular with tourists to London and is policed by traditional "Beadles" in top hats and frock coats.

Informazioni sull'autore
Richard Stern
London, England
London based photographer with longstanding interest in Street Photography. My recent book is a photo essay of the experience of "Lockdown" in London during the coronavirus pandemic. All photos taken indoors, and include household "found objects" and plants. The result is surreal, ambiguous and uncanny. It records feelings during a threatening time in London 2020. A new book "Burlington Arcade" has just been published https://www.blurb.co.uk/bookstore/invited/8930590/2a88261661d5a7c85526440ca413b725a66ef094 See more work: www.facebook.com/frogfoto www.instagram.com/richard.stern www.flickr.com/photos/frogfoto Follow me on Instagram for latest work :www.instagram.com/richard.stern
