Informazioni sul libro
After publishing the first book in this series, I decided to go back and dig further into the archives. What I discovered were enough evening and night street shots for at least two more books on this theme. I intended for The CITY After Dark II to be more story telling. Almost cinematic. The photos I squenced on these pages are intended to appear as one frame narratives. The reason I chose a smaller square book format is so you can easily flip through the pages like an old film strip.
The photos in this collection are made over a twelve year period from the streets of Hamilton and Toronto Canada. Both city’s I fondly consider home. But it matters not where these photos were shot, it isn’t really about any one particular city. The city is simply the backdrop. It is about the social animal, the human being navigating The CITY After Dark.
