The years 2020 and 2021 were dominated by the global covid-19 pandemic. International travel was impossible, interstate travel highly restricted. It was time to look closer to home. Over the two years we visited 100 small towns within South Australia, each with a population of less than 500. We were not looking for ruins or signs of decay and despair. We were looking for signs of life, indicators of people living, working and embracing their community. This book consists simply of one image for each town we visited.
