Informazioni sul libro
Pearl's Purpose takes us on Pearl's mental health journey from when she first starts to struggle with her mental health to when she receives help and decides it is her purpose to remind others that it's okay to not be okay. Intended to open up conversations around mental health between adults and children, Pearl's Purpose teaches young children the importance of having honest conversations about their feelings with an adult. Thanks to Pearl's teacher, Miss Simon, and Pearl's school counselor, Ms. Hope, Pearl learns that it is okay to experience different emotions and what coping strategies she can use to take care of her mental health. Like Pearl, with the combination of a strong support system of people who care and a safe space to discuss feelings, your young reader too will know it's okay to not be okay.
