This book is a way of managing desire and melancholia. A way of reinvigorating the myriad of details and sensations still living in my memory. This book is an homage as well as a bottle at sea, thrown out into the material world in the hopes of breaking this streak of drawn-out years spent in longing, longing to be reunited with a place that I love and which still holds me under its spell.
