Ever since I was a child, I have drawn many animals. After I bought my first Norwegian Elkhound, of course, I drew mostly Norwegian Elkhound dogs, although I do other dogs and animals too. My favorite media now is pen and ink, and I like to render them in color, with art markers or colored pencils. . I also love photography, especially of my pets and other animals, so have started some children's books with photos . My latest book is about my Norwegian Elkhound Chilly , who is a therapy dog. She was certified and had 10 visits under her belt when covid 19 shut down all of the places she had been going to. I'm sure the children miss her as much as she misses going to schools and libraries and listening to them read! She love petting and is so sweet but now she is bored and I'm sure can't figure out why we can't go any more. I currently am retired, and live on the family farm, in Central Wisconsin , two Norwegian Elkhounds and three rescued cats.
