Informazioni sul libro
North Lakes Resort Golf Club was a championship grade golf course, located in North Lakes, 26 kilometres north of Brisbane, Australia.
Designed by Graham Marsh and opened in 2002, the course measured an impressive 7100 yards or 6490 metres from the back tees.
The club was sold to developers due to financial difficulties and is slated to become a retirement village.
Residents continue to be extremely upset by the decision, as they chose to live in the area because of the lifestyle and the amenities the golf course provided.
The club was closed on the 11th August 2019, just 17 years after opening.
The book photographically documents what the golf course looked like after a period of closure between 2021 and 2023.
