Informazioni sul libro
This series was taken on the streets of Cork city the day of the European Rugby Cup final between the teams of Munster (Ireland) and Toulouse (France) at the Millennium Stadium, Cardiff. Cork city is the largest city in the province of Munster, which encompasses the southern counties of Ireland. Rugby is hugely popular in the province where on the weekend of the final, many supporters flocked to either Cardiff (Wales) or to be in Limerick where the team’s home ground is situated. The purpose of the series was to capture the atmosphere of the city whilst the final was being played. Each photograph that is taken runs parallel to the events that were happening in the match. The images depict a glimpse of the loyal following that exists in the region towards their team.
