Informazioni sul libro
The photographs I took turned out to be very different from what I had initially envisioned. When I first saw "Heima," Iceland was a relatively unknown destination, but over the years, it became increasingly popular, and social media became saturated with images of its landscapes. This influenced my expectations, and I had a specific set of photos in mind. But photography is a deeply personal experience, and each photographer's unique perspective leads to very different outcomes. When I came back from the trip I was very disappointed with my photos because they didn't align with the preconceived ideas I had. However, nearly a year later, I decided to revisit them and carefully curated a selection. I ended up removing many of my original favorites, leaving a collection of thirty-two images that I think that truly capture my vision for the project.
