Quamrul Abedin (b. 1987, Bangladesh) is a cross media visual artist & communication specialist based in Dhaka, Bangladesh. He won the Lensculture Visual Storytelling Awards 2015 in Personal Stories catrgory.He was selected for the prestigious Angkor Photography Workshop 2013 in SiemReap, Cambodia. He attended several local and international workshops such as (a) International Reportage workshop by Philip Blenkinsop & Max Pam at Cairo, Egypt in collaboration with Pathshala- Bangladesh, Oslo University College- Norway & Contemporary Image Collective, Egypt in 2013 and (b) Workshop on visual story telling by Morten Krogvold in collaboration with Pathshala, Bangladesh & Bjerkely Folkehøyskole, Norway 2011. His work has been published locally and internationally. He has worked with different corporate and development organizations in different capacity such as visual consultant, film director, creative director among others.
