This publication, documents my recent artistic collaborations with 3 emerging Limerick artists. Carey Long, sculptural, installation, Robbie Murphy, sound artist and Courtney Sharos, multimedia and performance artist. The art critic Cristin Leach, has written an essay on my work focusing on the final exhibition of the three collaborations Circus Act, which took place in April of 2023. Circus Act represents the resolution of ideas I began working on with Long in June 2022 and expanded with Murphy in November 2022. There is an interview with each artist about their experience of the collaborations carried out by Aoife Doherty. Also included is documentation of a solo exhibition from May 2024 in Spacecraft Project Space, Limerick, where the previous three exhibitions took place. This latest exhibition, ‘Icarus and the Fine Art of Re-Surfacing’ represents the culmination of several years of research in collage and print, primarily collographs. Where I exhibited both the printing plate and the print lifted from it, as a kind of diptych or mirror image. Along with a series of new 30 x 40 cm oil on canvas paintings.
