Before Stan and Jan Berenstain created The Berenstain Bears children's books, they were successful magazine cartoonists. Parents Are Such a Lot of Trouble is the sketch version of a previously unpublished picture book created around 1960 featuring characters from the McCall's Magazine It's All in the Family series.
