Informazioni sul libro
There are many famous artist photographs from the 1950's - '70's taken by photographers trusted by the stars. Nowdays paparazzi and other intrusions into private life has led to the mistrust of photographers which has led to increasingly restricted access. Despite the film distributors needing to generate publicity material, behind the scenes access to these events is becoming harder to obtain. So even with an increasing number of photographers and images published in the media, the candid shots, the quiet moments, the photographs that help us understand the persons who shape modern cinema are decreasing.
Putting this collection of photos together I have tried to include not only the previously published or the typical media photographs but also the more unusual, candid photography which are often overlooked by the mainstream media.

Informazioni sull'autore
I am a Freelance Editorial Photographer living in Worthing. Most of my work is in Sussex and London although I do travel further afield if requested. I mainly work in the field of entertainment covering Live Music, Film and TV events, Premieres etc. My work has been published in UK national papers, periodicals and internationally. In my "spare" time I shoot fine art and stock capturing what 99.999% of the population miss as they walk around, if only they would open their eyes. People are wonderful - I feel split moments can show far more emotion and illustrate an event or person than any moving image can. Most of my inspiration comes from 1950's and 1960's black and white imagery but due to current news market trends, I don't get to deliver black and white images often. :-(
