Informazioni sul libro
What does it cost to be the person who runs toward the chaos? For Eli, the answer isn't found in a textbook or a training manual. It’s found in the weary moonlight of a living room at 3:00 AM, pinned under the stack of every life touched and every life lost.
Moving from the foundational lessons of a grandmother’s love to the honorable service of a mother who chose him, Heavy Frequency explores the deep roots that allow a responder to stand firm in the storm. It is a powerful exploration of character, family, and the profound realization that while the world doesn't stop for ghosts, we never truly walk alone.

Informazioni sull'autore
Michael DeBortoli is a career emergency services professional with over fifteen years of experience serving as an Advanced Emergency Medical Technician (AEMT) and firefighter. A Kentucky Board of EMS State Certified Educator and professional grant writer, he has dedicated his life to strengthening the infrastructure of public safety and advocating for the equipment and training first responders need to survive the job. Above all, Michael is a father and a husband. Heavy Frequency is his first book, born from the raw reality of the "Tragedy Stack"—the intersection of a life spent saving others and a heart spent mourning his own. He writes to give a voice to the silent burdens carried by those behind the badge and to honor the legacy of the six children who define his world.
