I did not learn photography from books. I learned it through silence, through wounds, and through the quiet necessity of creating in order to keep breathing.
Self-taught, I found in photography a refuge, a language, and a path back to myself. Portraits became encounters. Self-portraits became conversations with the soul.
Life has taught me that healing is not the absence of pain, but the courage to transform it. War, exile, illness, loss, love and motherhood have all left their marks. Together, they shaped not only the person I became, but also the way I see the world.
Every photograph in this collection is a fragment of that journey. Not a testimony of suffering, but a celebration of endurance. A reminder that even the deepest scars can become places where light quietly enters.
